Yearly Classical Music Event in De Doelen, Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Gerrit Melles is not only a corneal surgeon and the founder of NIIOS, but also an amateur composer. Every fall, the Melles Classical Music Foundation (MCMF) and NIIOS host a classical concert in the De Doelen concert venue in Rotterdam. This musical afternoon features not only compositions by Gerrit Melles, but also works by Schumann, Beethoven, Bach and other classical masters. The concert is open to friends of MCMF, friends of NIIOS and others interested in classical music.
