Since its start in 2003, NIIOS R&D has worked closely with academic and industrial partners on several innovative projects. In our experience, it takes input and expertise from a variety of viewpoints to generate innovative ideas. Partners in Multicenter Study on DMEK:

NIIOS R&D is collaborating with more than 50 corneal specialists worldwide in a multicenter study on DMEK. We are documenting experiences in more than 2000 DMEK eyes and evaluating the procedure’s clinical outcomes. Surgeons participating in this study come from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK and the United States.
