Advanced keratoplasty wetlab instruction courses organized by the NIIOS focus on

The NIIOS organizes wetlab instruction courses at regular time intervals. Each course consists of a two-day program scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday. At the first day (Tuesday), participants are invited to observe various live-surgeries in patients, and at the second day (Wednesday), participants receive a hands-on training in lamellar keratoplasty techniques in a wetlab set-up. Please note: Course fees are used entirely to cover the organizational costs of the wetlabs and to sponsor the R&D activities at the NIIOS, that lacks university grant support.

The Wetlab Course of February 11/12, 2014 has been credited with 12 CME credits.
For the courses of April and May 2014 an application has been made to the UEMS-EACCME® for CME accreditation of these events.
CME credits for the other courses of 2014 will be applied for.
